Ryan Lakebrink has been involved in decorative and polished concrete for the better part of two decades. As president of Lakebrink Custom Concrete, a family company, he is involved in a wide variety of concrete work for all applications. Since he was 14 years old, Ryan has been in the industry, working hard to give his customers the best quality product. Over the past 11 years, he has worked hard to bring decorative and premium polished concrete to central Missouri.

In late 2017, Ryan Lakebrink joined with Karen Keyes to found The Art of Concrete. The Art of Concrete is a Denver, Colorado-based firm specializing in polishing and clean, modern decorative concrete. Ryan currently serves as Vice President and Installation Expert for the firm. He is also on the board of directors for the  ASCC’s Decorative Concrete Council and Polishing Council, as well as a voting member on the ACI Committee 310-J on Polished Concrete.

At the Decorative Concrete Fair, Ryan and his crew will be demonstrating a wet polishing technique using Lythic product and Wagman tools. Lythic, owned by Solomon Colors, produces an innovative line of colloidal silica-based densifiers and protectors for concrete polishing. Wagman Metal Products is a premium manufacturer of concrete finishing hand tools, power trowel pans and blades, and their patented poly blades that eliminate burnishing marks.
